Formed in the Autumn of 2016, by actor Alan Birch and award winning author A.G. Smith, Weeping Bank Productions has gone from strength to strength.

 

Not only do we bring original ghost stories to the stage but we're also responsible for the increasingly popular Black Country Horror Shorts Fim Festival, which aims to put the Black Country on the horror film festival map.

In short, we're dedicated to the art of scaring people through story telling, live theatre and film.

Alan Birch is widely known for his portrayal of David Tristram’s creation Inspector Drake, a role that he has made his own in sell-out theatre tours as well as on the big screen in two feature films. Alan is also a writer, producer and director.

A.G. Smith has written articles for Inside Times, The Bookseller and The Financial Times.

 

His novels have drawn praise from the likes of Anthony Horowitz and Ian Thornton and he has appeared on C4’s Secret Millionaire and BBC Radio 4’s PM.
